Women deserve to date someone who is considerate, morally conscientious, and just plain polite. There are those who pride themselves on being that way, while there are others who don’t realize that they’re being assholes. They will never admit that they’re being jerks, unless you call them out on it.Determining whether or not one of your suitors fits the bill can be a difficult task; some jerks are hard to weed out. Using these easy identifiers, you can determine whether your partner is a jerk—or a gem. It might be most obvious to look at it in a romantic relationship or marriage. Codependents (and addicts for that matter) are almost always children of codependents, passed down like a family legacy.
Of course the roots and symptoms of codependency are individual and nuanced.
